Baby and Toddler Safety (0-3)

Supervision

  • NEVER smoke or drink hot beverages while holding your baby or toddler.
  • NEVER leave your baby alone and out of arms reach on an elevated surface (like a changing table, bed, or sofa), near or in water (not even in a bath seat), or with a pet or young sibling – not even for a second.
  • Only leave your baby or toddler with a mature adult and make sure the places they stay are safe.
  • Keep your baby in a highchair or playpen while you are in the kitchen.
  • Keep a hand on your baby when changing clothes or their diaper.

Dangerous Items

Choking Hazards

  • Bigger toys with small parts

Strangulation Hazards
