We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics Vaccine Schedule.

Meet Your Doctor: Kim Burlingham, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Picture
Dr. Kim Burlingham (known to her patients and the Internet as "Dr. Kim") completed her residency and an additional year as Chief Resident at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. Aside from gaining a world-class education, she also met a world-class general surgeon: her husband, Dr. Robert Van Blair.

Dr. Kim and Dr. Blair have been practicing evidence-based medicine in East Texas since 1990. Just as she is a third-generation physician, she is already seeing her third generation of patients. She is, without competition, the best pediatrician in Wood County (just don’t mind that she is the only pediatrician in Wood County).

Dr. Kim lives in Winnsboro with her husband and their stray-to-stay dogs and cats. She has two adult daughters, Jennifer and Molly, who have grown and flown. Unfortunately, neither have flown to medical school, though Dr. Kim still holds out hope. In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys gardening, cooking and baking, DIY art projects, watercolor painting, and knitting crowns for every newborn who becomes a Dr. Kim's Kid.
